Spring's Cutest and Coolest Kid Contests

I'm trying something new....I've decided to hold two Spring contests: Cutest Kid and Coolest Kid!

I'm looking for kids in the age range of 3-6 ("Cutest" contest) and 7-10 ("Coolest" contest), boy or girl, and who has a very stylish wardrobe (hee, hee). You can submit a recent photo of your child (can be just a snapshot...nothing fancy) to my email at capturedbykristenphotography@gmail.com by March 15, 2009 and I will post the pictures on my blog with a poll to vote for the winner.

The winners of the contests will receive a free photo session (a $75 value) at a set outdoor location, a free 5x7 print (a $10 value), and 50% off all other print/CD prices!

Precious Peyton

How do I get so lucky to get all of these gorgeous blue eyed kids in my life? This is my "niece" Peyton. Her mom and dad our our best friends. They FINALLY moved back from Florida and I am overjoyed that we get to raise our kids together. Peyton turns two (already...sniff, sniff) in March and this is my favorite picture from her session.

And just because I couldn't decide if I liked the color or mocha better, I'm adding both. Even though as I always say (right Court?) I don't like the color on Blogger. I think it's time to find another alternative. Also on the "To Buy" list: a noiseware program. The reason you see a little grain in these pictures is because I bumped up my ISO (technical terms, I know) so I didn't have to use a flash.

This week's theme is SILLY! How fun!!!!!


My adult entry this week is my sister, Stacy again. This is the first picture that popped into my head for this category. It's not the best picture photography wise, but it sure is SILLY!! I took it at my son's 4th birthday party at Bounce Planet in Noblesville, IN.

My kid entry this week is my son Dominic. This picture was taken on his 4th birthday and he just hhhaaaddd to make his SILLY face. He's a goof.

I ♥ Faces: Week 4

Ooohhhh!!! This is the first week for a pet entry and the theme is "Anything Goes." I'm SOOO excited to enter my little Puggle, Wrigley in this category! I think he's the cutest!
The kids and adults theme this week is "The Eyes Have It." With all the gorgeous eyes in my family, this one was SUPER easy!

My "Kids" entry is my littlest man and his bright blue eyes when he was 6 months old.

My "Adult" entry is my beautiful older sister, Stacy. Doesn't she have stunning brown eyes?
