Happy First Birthday To You!

This sweet little girl just turned ONE and I got to photograph her party! How fun!!!! She's just the sweetest little thing. Here are some cute ones of her eating her cake. Happy First Birthday Shay!!!

Precious Peyton

How do I get so lucky to get all of these gorgeous blue eyed kids in my life? This is my "niece" Peyton. Her mom and dad our our best friends. They FINALLY moved back from Florida and I am overjoyed that we get to raise our kids together. Peyton turns two (already...sniff, sniff) in March and this is my favorite picture from her session.

And just because I couldn't decide if I liked the color or mocha better, I'm adding both. Even though as I always say (right Court?) I don't like the color on Blogger. I think it's time to find another alternative. Also on the "To Buy" list: a noiseware program. The reason you see a little grain in these pictures is because I bumped up my ISO (technical terms, I know) so I didn't have to use a flash.

Baby K. and Little A.

The Z. family contacted me to take Baby K.'s six month pictures. While there I got to snap a few of his cute older sister, Little A. They are such sweeties. I just love their little smiles! They are also members of the same church that we are so I'll get to see them again! I hope you enjoy your sneak peek! ♥

♥ My Little Valentines ♥

After two attempts I finally got some cute pictures of my boys to use for their Valentine cards to pass out to their preschool buddies. They wanted nothing to do with the yummy lollipop I got, but that's okay, we made it work without them.

A few new ones of my boys.

While taking Dominic's 4 year old pictures today I realized that I never took an official two year picture of Lucas back in November. Bad mommy, I know. So I thought I'd snap some of him today too. I got reminded of just how impossible and frustrating it is to try to get a nice picture of my own children. Anyways, not totally pleased with them but here are a few new ones of my boys!

Peyton at the pumpkin patch

We headed to the pumpkin patch last Tuesday with our best friends Robb and Kelly, their little girl Peyton, Lyndsey, Tim and their little boy Aidan. As you can see there are NO pictures of my boys because they were in moods. Especially Lucas. In fact, I didn't get very good pictures of any of the kiddos because they just did not want to look at the camera. But I did manage to capture this SUPER cute picture of Peyton. It was one of the very last pictures I took of the afternoon and I LOVE it!!!!

I just can't help it.

These little guys (and their parents) are so stinkin' cute that when I was finishing up editing their session I had to play a bit (Courtney, I hope you don't mind). I ran some retro vintage actions on them and I LOVE how they turned out so I have to share! :o)

Long Time No See: The Nichols Family

This is my friend Courtney and her gorgeous family. I used to teach with Courtney about 5 years ago (wow, has it really been that long?). We reconnected via Facebook and she wanted me to take her family's pictures, and I was honored that she even asked. Her two boys are almost the same age as mine (her oldest born 11/04 and youngest born 01/07 and my oldest born 01/05 and youngest born 11/06....weird how they're the same months) and they are so cute! I have a soft spot for blue eyed, blonde haired brothers! Here's your sneak peek Courtney. There were so many that I liked that it was hard for me to narrow it down. I hope you like them!
